MJES, as the first periodic journal regarding the “European Integration Process” in Turkey, aims to present the studies of domestic and foreign researchers on economics, law, international relations and political science under European Union perspective.

Articles published in these series represent solely the views of the authors. The articles published in the journal may only be reproduced under educational reasons. The articles, figures and tables cannot be reproduced partially or completely and also cannot be archived in a specific system without permission. Citations are allowed only after indicating in academic publications as references. Word Count:
-Minimum 6500, maximum 9000 words, including footnotes and references; without the abstract. The editorial board holds the right to accept longer manuscripts if it finds appropriate.
-The abstract should be 250 words, maximum.
-Word count for tables and figures will be determined according to their space: half page will be regarded as 250 words; regardless of the word count when the table is removed.
-Manuscripts less than 3000 words will be considered for publication as Commentary, if found appropriate by the editorial board.
-Case reviews should not be more than 3000 words. Case reviews will be subjected to peer review. -Book reviews should not exceed 2000 words. They will be published upon decision by the editorial board.

Paragraphs

- Line spacing: 1
- Cited paragraphs should be indented 1 cm in both sides.

Fonts

- Font: Times New Roman (12)
- Cited paragraph: Times New Roman (10)
- Bold fonts should only be used in the title and subtitles.
- CAPS LOCK should only be used in the title of the paper.
- Numbering should not be used in subtitles.
- Subtitles should be in the following format (the first letters of all words in the subtitles should be capital letters):
Level 1 Subtitle (bold)
Level 2 Subtitle (italic)
Level 3 Subtitle (bold+italic)

Citations

-Bibliographical references must be cited using the author-date system, with page numbers where necessary. For example: (Cini, 2000) and (Cini, 2000: 21).
-References must be listed alphabetically at the end of the article (interviews should be listed separately at the end of the references as shown below).

-The authors should make sure that all references are complete (including recurring author names) and must appear in the text (and vice versa). For examples of the bibliographical references see below.
-If author name is not available: (Article Title, year: pages)

Footnotes

-Must be single-spaced (10pt), numbered consecutively, and must not be used for references. -Ideally, footnotes should not be too long and their number should be kept to a minimum.

-The authors should not use any endnotes.
